Pro Wrestling is FAKE!?!

Who knew? But seriously though, watching Monday Night RAW is one of my many vices. I absolutly love pro wrestling, and I can't really explain it. It's such an exciting sport where you always know it's gonna end in a crazy way. It's not only the part you see, but the art of how it is pulled off that intrigues me. And I know a lot of you out there watch it, even if you don't wanna admit it. However, I was watching a match between Kane and Snitsky last night and it was just ridiculous. Kane chokeslams Snitsky off the top of the ramp onto a pile of tables and such. When the camera get's down there Snitsky's having a fucking converstaion with Kane and practiclly laughing. I want to know who dropped the ball here. For a multi-million dollar corporation, the WWE should know where NOT to put there cameras in the right times. Check out the clip here:

Yes, that's an aspect. But pro wrestling is more than that obviously. There is great competition involved and extrodanary talant as well.

i know, i'm not saying its actually stupid, its just that to me its boring. but I know a lot of other guys that love it and need to see it each week (is it still on on mondays?)

i hate because i do mma, and pro wrestling is crap. i rare-naked choke would be someone out in 5-10 seconds, but that submission NEVER works in pro wrestling.

I loved it in elementary school, stopped watching in middle school, and just picked it up again my senior year because I'm bored of reality television. Now I wonder why I left it at all.

All through high school, I was hooked. It was the only thing I'd watch/talk about/do (we had a trampoline--that was badassed). But when I got to college, I just kinda lost interest. The big merger was the last pay per view I purchased. We used to have huge parties for those things.

I still dig it a little bit...I have a bunch of old tapes some trader had like Best of Cactus Jack in Japan, Most Horrifying Moments, etc. that I still watch. I will mark out for Sabu any day of the week...along with most of the guys that were in ECW.

The old WCW was awesome (with Sting, Lex Luger...etc) As was the old WWF, with the Ultimate Warrior and Hogan. I used to watch all that all the time when I was 5-8 and had Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage wrestling buddies, jumping off the couch onto them. But then i just totally lost interest. I came back for a little while during the beginnig of Kane in the WWF but my interest only lasted for like a year.

Wrestling is actually funny to see live in person, I went to a few shows for free in CT and was real close to the action. It's amazing what they do with camara angles for TV, cause it looks so fake its funny in person.
