I think dreamgirl is going to be a huge single for them. I think it is really going to get a lot of radio play.

I do too, especially after the success of American Baby. It's going to be a popular follow up.

what about opening every show with "Stand Up(for it)", that'd be a little too cheesy

I don't think they'll play those two songs EVERY show, that's what makes DMB so special and good live is their various setlists...

This is off topic, but I don't like the "(For It)". I think it should just be "Stand Up". IMO

Dream Girl is the equivalent of "Where Are You Going" for this album. Every teenybopper in the nation is going to swoon and use it to dedicate to their girls on radio stations, dance to it at school dances (yes, I bet it's still going strong next fall), etc etc....

Dream Girl is going to be played so much I'll be sick of it. Luckily I don't listen to radio very much, outside of classic rock radio.

But that's OK...as love songs go (and yes, that's what the general population will think of Dream Girl), it's not as good as Steady As We Go...so I'll keep that one to myself.

those two are really good songs, but they do run the risk of being overplayed. my guess is that this year they probably will be, but in subsequent tours setlists will probalby be more balanced

Couldn't agree more with you. I actually hope they don't play AB every single night although if I were a beting man my money would be on AB being played at every show except one or two if even that.

For two nights stands I don't see why the band can't play AB on one night and DG the next night. I thibnk that would work and could keep those that go to multiple shows happy (note, I don't think this should be the case with one night stands-if they want to play them both then they should go for it).

I think this tour could be similar to 02 in the way they mix it up-I just hope they do it a little more so.

Should be an very interesting summer.

Re: i can deal with AB being played every night BUT

AB will be played at every single venue. I can't see them playing it both nights of a two night stand though. Maybe it makes two appearances at the three gorge shows.

If AB and DG are getting played every night I will seriously consider only going to 2 nights of the Gorge. I heard Joyride and Sugar Will (two superior songs) all 3 nights last year and it was overkill.

As my favorite song on the album I wouldn't mind Dreamgirl being played every night.

I think it's going to happen.

Hey, did you notice that the sticker on the cd only highlights two songs... usually they do at least three. Maybe they actually don't know what the 3rd single is yet?

Yeah that's true...but my bet as the 3rd single is Old Dirt Hill. If this severely popped-out song is not a single than why the hell would it be on the album?

Wow. If it does it's going to bomb.

I like Everybody Wake Up as a single, but it probably is too cool.

Yeah that's true, but ODH is wayyy too poppy to not be a single.
