So glad I got tickets. I would have been pissed to miss a show that is being played an hour from my house because of not getting tickets. I said a little prayer after getting denied on the griztix site multiple times...I think it worked. Seeing these Amsterdam sets has me really excited for Missoula. Glad to know another Ant will be there. I will seriously be happy with whatever they play, I'm not too jaded on the band so even a mediocre set will probably blow my mind. I'm hoping for Hitchhiker and Release.

people posting setlist scans on the pj forums. those two songs would have opened e2. hitchhiker was on it too for the main set, but not played. daughter was supposed to have an it's ok tag, also.

this will be show 21 for me and even a mediocre set will be a good time. i haven't been to montana since i was in middle school so i'm looking forward to hanging out there a couple days.

i, too, want hitchhiker. amongst my favorites on lost dogs and very glad to see them finally play it.

I'm sitting just a few blocks away from the Adams Center right now, here's to hoping that the weather stays beautiful for all you folks that are making the trip out here! Lost Dogs was my first album I purchased so I would love to get Red Black Yellow, Bee Girl, Hard to Imagine etc. even though I know that's just wishful thinking.

Unfortunate that it was those two songs that had to get cut.

my first show was in 1998 and the songs i wanted most were wma and who you are. at the time it'd only been a short time since they last played those tunes, but the years went on and on and on. and on. FINALLY, at bonnaroo in 2008, i got to hear them (and hard to imagine, to boot). for it to happen at bonnaroo, my favorite place and where i'd be buried if i could, made it even more special.

hopefully you won't have to wait nearly as long to hear those. i'd love to hear bee girl, too. i've been blessed to pretty much hear everything i'd ever want to, but bee girl is still on that list.

Here's to hoping that the band plays like there's no curfew (I honestly don't know if there is one)

Yeah Bee Girl is my most desired song. No idea why either, just one of those things I guess.

Re: ~Official Pearl Jam Appreciation Thread~

Pointless & random in-thread poll question: Which of the individual band members do you think has changed the most looking, physically speaking over the years?

I'd have to say Mike, and I don't even know that I attribute that necessarily to his Chrons disease at all, but just that you look at video footage of him every couple of years over the last two decades, it seems like he's going thru so many variations, from lanky and skinny with long dark hair way back at the start, to medium length blondish hair and a bit on the chunky side during the Yield sessions, to now actually looking rather stylish in the PJ20 interviews, and everything in between. I think Jeff maybe has the one's looked mostly the same in the entire run, just a matter of when his hair was super long to now short buzz cut/balding for several years

I'd have to say their drummer But yeah, Mike. Eddie has changed looks quite a bit, but mostly hair, not body type. Jeff still looks pretty much the same and the dude is 50. Crazy.

Please save me the step and link it. A) I've had enough wine that it probably won't make my head hurt, but I'm too lazy to look for it, and B) I don't really want to wade through DMBc

Not even going to join in that non-sense. I love DMB as much as the next guy, but I'm not blind to the truth.

Well played, sir. and what especially cracks me up about this, I've always couldn't help but wonder, when they get to the portion in the PJ20 movie of Mike explaining the drum story, is it merely coincidence that they happen to divert to the line/joke from Spinal Tap in the very spot where Dave A is mentioned. Like, everyone else in the band's history, gets at least even a tiny couple of words explanation, but we all know how awkward the Dave A exit was, did they purposely use the Spinal Tap joke right there so as to not have to try and say anything even remotely personal about Dave

Good to see people seem to have a firm grasp on what the idea of solely DMB-centric discussion means

The band will not talk about Dave beyond what they have in my opinion, well maybe everyone but Ed can elaborate, but it's really a dead horse.

Although thing is, between several different sources around the net over the last couple years now, I've come to learn that there is a waaaaaaaaaay bigger faction than I ever dreamed there would've been that still thinks Dave A is the best drummer the band ever had, and not that Matt is a poor drummer, but that they miss Dave A and feel ultimately PJ would presently be a better band musically with him still included.
