See The Wavelength of a note now!

I just found this out(i dont know how i did but). Take your guitar and hold it about 1 and a half feet from your computer moniter so the guitar and the moniter are perpendicullar _|_ and so that you can see the bottom e string and the screen at the same time. Pluck the e string and then go up the frets and see the different wavelengths!

Re: See The Wavelength of a note now!

Because of the refresh rate of your monitor, you'll often hit notes that will trick your eyes into seeing resonances rather than the true "image."

Re: See The Wavelength of a note now!

Try holding your hand in front on your monitor and wave it back and forth, like you are waving "hello" to your screen.

Same effect.
