Aracnophobia

Apparently I have it. I never did before. But I've concluded that to be the reason I sat in the same place for a good six hours today after seeing a spider on my bed. I wasted my entire day because I was afraid to come back in the room I saw the spider in. And I don't know why. I got goosebumps every time I thought of it.

Anyone else ever experience this?

My brother and I refuse to sit in this red chair we have in our basement b/c we saw a big, brown, and hairy spider crawling around the neck rest. We aptly named it the 'Whooly Willy chair'.

When I see spiders...and I see them all the time in this shithole, even I get a little uneasy. But I think everyone can get a little tense around those suckers. I usually watch it for a little bit and work up the nerve to bash it in with a shoe. Sad isn't it? I rape, drink, slay, and pilliage but I don't like spiders.

A couple of years ago I had a problem with Brown Recluses in my basement. I came across like 20 of them. They are some freaky ass spiders.

Eewww, I still shutter just thinking about them.

I still keep a can of Raid handy down there just in case.

I can't smash a spider. Actually my boyfriend will let the small ones go but must kill the big ones, I can easily kill the small ones but I can't smash the big ones. It just grosses me out to think of it. Ew. Spider goo.

He wants to move to Vegas. Come on, dude. Desert? Tarantulas? Not to mention the scorpions, snakes and big ass wasps.

The reason being afraid of spiders is so irrational is that they will just run from you if they see you coming. Even if you're getting up to run out of the room they'll get freaked, run away and hide and you'll never see it again. Just shoo it away.

Yeah, that's what you tell yourself.

not true. I saw one in my garage a couple of months ago and right before I beat him to death, he hissed at me and then assumed an attack posture.

When I had the infestation, I would mess with the brownies (Raid in hand of course). I would poke at them with a stick, and instead of running away, they'd turn toward the stick and raise a couple legs. If I kept messing with them, they'd attack the stick. They're very aggresive and don't take no shit.

They die real quick though with good old Raid!
