trader newbie question

Well, thanks to joejokin I have just recieved my 1st B+P DMB show ever! I added it to the list of shows I have. I am not sure of the taper. Is it a crime to leave the source/taper spot blank on my list? Thanks!

It's not a crime, but it is better to know than to not know. Why don't you just send a PM over to the guy you got it from and ask? Don't worry too much though, there are some shows out there with unknown tapers.

for DMB: http://db.etree.org/bs_d.php?artist_key=6
for all other bands: http://db.etree.org/bs.php
you can check the taper/source, at the links provided. what you do is, click on the date of the show, and then and the bottom of the setlist, it has links for the different tapers. what you have to do, is compare the times lengths of the songs or disks to the different tapers to the copy you have, that's how you know who taped it. it may seem confusing, but it's not that bad.
