taper roll call - who will be taping dave solo in EU?

anybody know American peeps who made the trek, or EU tapers that will be archiving?

I tryed and fucked up last year,This tour i am gonna give it a better shot!

I ordered mics -http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/category.cgi,SP-CMC-19.

Have a Mini Disc Recorder(Hi-MD).
Just got an email saying the Mics should arrive Monday-not Definate,but Monday or Tueday.
I'll be at Dublin,Belfast,Manchester,Oxford,Brussels & Amsterdam.

I'll give it a shot for the craic,hope someone else with a better idea of all this malarky will do it tho!

Awsome, just make sure youre in front of the stacks if your mic stand cant go really high to cancel out the crowd noise during the taping.

And as long as you get it all on the Mini Discs there are plenty of people here who would help you out in making all the things happen to get a torrent up and running.

Oh-its gonna be a stealth job,getting clip on mics,suppose to be good ones tho so if the settings are alright-hopefully be grand!

I've decent seats,5th row being worst.The Settings and changing of Batterys/MD's is what am worryed about!
I've a 3beer limit pre shows just un case

Yay! I'll be at Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, and Oxford, and would love tapes of those. I heard someone taped Newcastle tonight which is good...it was awesome.

I am toying with the idea of videoing Amsterdam. I have benn to Paradiso and security is shall we say non existent. Just curious how the tape switch will time out. I run 60 mins. per tape (MicroMV on Sony IP-5). I am thinking maybe at the Tim solo and then once more during encore break. Is this logical or is the Tim solo past the hour mark usually? I would hate to lose a piece of one of Daves tunes, especially Cornbread! Or someother new deal.

I went to see John Mayer in November last year in the Dam and security where all over me,flashing lights at me to put my camera away when ever i was seen with it out.But me being a bad invincable Concert taping mo-fo , i got a few vids

Well, for Glasgow...

I wasn't really looking for tapers and suchlike, but there was someone in the front circle with a large LED screen that I could see, but I'm not sure if they were filming the whole thing, or even filming at all - the only reason I noticed them was because two security guys came along the front of the rear stalls, and then walked down the stairs at either side of that block of seats. I don't really know what the attitude is to tapers here, but in somewhere like the SECC I don't think it'd be too favourable, but I think someone in the Glasgow thread mentioned that someone said they'd be taping. Fingers crossed!
