Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Last night from 1-3 on Comedy Central. No wonder I'm sleepy.

Funny movie though.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Breach - A solid "talky" espionage thriller, but nothing too special. It was a good version of The Good Shepherd that actually had interesting characters and a more intense and intriguing plot line. Christ Cooper is great as always. However, Cooper's transition in character was somewhat unconvincing and the climax was a little lacking. Perhaps it just wanted to stick to historical accuracy. 7/10, recommended.

EDIT: First time viewing Requiem For A Dream is on the agenda for later this evening.

I just watched Jarhead now I'm looking for something else to watch. I tried The Descent but it was all messed up. I've been watching movies all day.

I watched the Good Shepherd yesterday. I thought it was good. Last movie I saw in a theater was 300. It was alright. The cinematography was amazing though.

Yeah, it's a great movie. I've seen it numerous times, but I had to watch it again for my Sixties class...

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Raging Bull - 10/10, but Goodfellas is definitely Scorsese's best as well as my favorite Scorsese unlike my earlier thoughts had led me to believe.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Yeah, Raging Bull starts a little too slow. It's all carried by the acting. Goodfellas just sucks me right in. The direction, screenplay, acting, editing, soundtrack, and cinematography are all top notch.

We just finished Memento. We'd never seen it before, but I'm a big Christopher Nolan fan. I loved it. We were planning on stopping halfway through since it was going to be awful late, but we couldn't stop, we HAD to know how it ended. Very good film.
