**All You Need Is Love - The Official BEATLES Thread**

I searched, and to my surprise didn't find anything.

The Beatles are considered by many (including myself) to be the greatest band/artist in music history. Here's your chance to discuss anything Beatles related.

And to start:
"A Day in the Life" is the greatest song EVER created.

Re: **All You Need Is Love - The Official BEATLES Thread**

Abbey Road is their greatest album ever. Sure the White Album is awesome, but I find myself skipping a lot of the songs, but not with Abbey Road. Abbey Road is just pure perfection in my opinion.

Abbey Road is a fantastic album

I also really enjoy Revolver, Help!, and Sgt. Pepper

The White Album should've been called John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

My favorite Beatles track right now is Long Long Long

Help > Rubber Soul > Revolver > Sgt. Pepper might just be the greatest consecutive album run ever.

Abbey Road might be their best, but personally, I enjoy that entire 4-album run above even more. Rubber Soul also has my favorite song ever - "In My Life."

Finally, don't discount their early stuff. I dare to throw on Please Please Me or A Hard Day's Night and not have fun.

I think I always like Act Naturally because it was The b-side on Yesterday and I played that 45 over and over again when I was a kid. Sometimes I shift it up to 78 so the word “fool” sounded like “boob.”

I am such a child.

i was just thinking the same thing - i really think the Beatles are under-rated: everyone knows about "the beatles" and any (intelligent) music fan think's their the greatest band of all time. but, i think a lot of people love the idea of the beatles and sometimes forget their music. i mean every time i go back and actually listen to their music it just blows me away. sometimes its so simple, its almost too simple - its amazing what the 4 of them did as musicians

Not only that, but they broke up before any of them had turned 30! From their first release to their last was roughly eight years. EIGHT years!

it's kind of funny, no band has been able to match the beatles in terms of quality.........and the beatles weren't even together a decade. that's mind-boggling.
