Tool or Radiohead

Who makes better depressing music? Yeah I know, not every song is depressing but there is some truth to the stereotype.

I think so too. This basically was a theme for me to hide behind. Just coming out and asking who is better is no fun anymore.

Last night everybody was on best behavior and quiet and they all could sing wonderfully. It was totally not like a dmb concert.

Tool is an extremely talented band, and make more out of a genre where I generally find the bands make this type of music do it to bang heads and scream obnoxiously, but they're still metal and a little hard for me to listen to in long spreads. So Radiohead. And I like them more for their depressing music to answer the real question.

I would argue Tool isn't metal at all, but I understand you opinion.

LOVE LOVE LOVE both bands, but if I had to choose, I'd pick Tool. There's so much to their music and their live show is insane. This is sort of an apples to oranges comparison though...

Oh shit, missed the whole "depressing" thing. Radiohead wins that.

See radiohead doesnt depress me. It makes it sound negative. Theres this feeling i get when listening to certain Radiohead songs, that for the life of me I cant put my finger on. Sad isnt the right word. But it can be disguised as being sad almost, but I think theres more to it. Idk, whatever feeling I get when I listen to How To Disappear, No Suprises, Let Down, Fake Plastic Trees is an awesome feeling. God I love Radiohead.
