Apparently, Nolan has officially signed on. Hope its legit. Like to get some comments from the man himself.

I actually meant that The Dark Knight was so good I'm not sure I want another sequel. Idk I just always feel like they try to stretch things to their limits when some things should be left alone. But if Nolan is on board I'm sure it wouldn't be half assed.

i duno Batman Begins was very very good too, and they then they just did even better. I think they know what theyre doing, sucks Heath is gone tho, he was written into the 3rd movie i think, he was just amazing, he made that movie just perfect

I always thought the plan was to do 3 and then take it from there.

yea perhaps it was the plan. I mean don't get me wrong I'd be stoked to go see it regardless. I just hope its well thought out and done right (just like the first two). I guess there's no reason to believe that it won't be, but damn TDK is just so damn good, it'll be hard for a new one to measure up.

If both Nolan and Bale were smart, they would continue with this process of Batman movies until they officially suck. But I don't see that happening since nothing that Nolan or Bale could do could be any worse than George Clooney as Batman.

I'm kinda the opposite. I think Bale has been the best Bruce Wayne, but I don't like his Batman all that much, mostly because of that growly voice that he puts on.

My guess is that it will be quite a while; he's got Inception to shoot before he moves on the anything else.

I agree completely with one caveat:

The two takes on the Joker are so completely different, it is hard to compare them. Apples and oranges. However, I like Ledger's better.
