Check out the video of Victor Wooten playing Reminisence at Bass Day in 2001 (I'd get the link but I can't use YouTube on this computer). For one, Reminisence is an amazing song, two, the guy completely untunes his bass, plays percussion with it in perfect time with the song, and while keeping this going he tunes up all of the strings without playing any obvious notes. He then stops, counts of, and procedes to go back into the main theme of the song on a completely in tune guitar. It's motherfucking unreal.

Yeah dude that song rocks my socks. I've heard some recordings where his bass hasn't been in tune at the end though, understandable though.

I'm still not convinced that that is fake. I think the kid tried to cover his ass on Tosh, by claiming its fake. But one, watching him on that show, he is a terrible actor. I really don't think he'd be able to do that as well as he did. And two, what kid has never flipped the fuck out from playing video games. In the N64 days I was tame compared to some of my friends and I still broke two controllers haha. I can 100% believe a kid would react like this. And after seeing how awkward he was on Tosh, I really think its real.
