Re: cool idea for time bomb

so they should make it even more like Watchtower than it already is?

the song is bad. they shouldn't bother extending this because there are many more songs worth much more effort than this. as little of every show as possible should be taken up by Time Bomb.

Re: cool idea for time bomb

Time Bomb, as it was played last year, is absolutely awful. One of the band's worst live songs. Tim's solo is sooo ridiculously cheesy it's embarrassing. Not as embarrassing as Dave's failure to sing.

Re: cool idea for time bomb

I still loathe the intro...it's much too long, and Jeff sounds shitty.

Re: cool idea for time bomb

I like your idea op.

I enjoy this live, but feel this has song has a lot of potential still to vary the style of how its played.

It seems that when the heavy part kicks in the speed slows down like if a bomb goes off and time seems to slow down. I would like to see the heavy bit sped up. The pace of it really cranking up a few paces so its like the song comes alive, but its short lived leaving everyone a bit sort of dazed as to what has just happened. I'm all for leading into the heavy bit with a Tick Tick Tick.

Re: cool idea for time bomb

I feel like they haven't really developed most of the big whiskey songs live. I enjoy hearing them, but this song could be played so much better..

Re: cool idea for time bomb

I always thought it thought would be cool to use the Time Bomb lyrics in Two Step intro. I think it would be so good, they good do it every night.

Agreed. The intro does not do much for this song, in my opinion.

I really enjoyed the D+T version, as the song was stripped down. But, I am not a big fan of the band versions.

And, it disappoints me...b/c I thought this song could have been something. But, they have not represented it well live....
