Re: What Song Are You Playing (Trying to) Right Now?
If I lived a long time ago
I would ask Einstein if I could taser him in the brain with a low frequency taser explaining to him beforehand that this would be a controlled experiment and I am attempting to discover if small doses of electricity will make him say brilliant things, sounding much like Jeff Coffin playing whatever futuristic instrument it is that he plays
Perhaps the the electric waves eminating from Futureman is the reason why the Flecktones sound like they do
Religious babble
I have never met anyone who did not believe in God in some way, even agnostics, atheists, religious, etc.
In my opinion it's all in people interpreting all the religions of all the lands of all the time
there are stories, and religious stories, hopefully created or written to inspire and explain and teach
I think that we are all sons of daughters of God or god, whatever you prefer in some way
your God or god(s) can be anything you believe in , the universe, water, doctrine, people, electricity
To relate to God (god) is understanding that there is something that connects us, much like magnetism or electricity, it can be larger or smaller than us
I attempted parts of the Maker last night, mostly the end and have difficulty focusing on any song for its duration
I attempt to manipulate time signatures in songs and go into many songs, whatever pops into my head
When I play, I get the most satisfaction doing this - taking a song, and including other songs into that song
In the Maker I included various old gospel and traditional songs, then grey street (minor key), then born in the usa, and others in various orders
