My Stats... DMB v Phish.

I've been to 2 phish shows this year. seen 53 songs and 3 repeats.

If i analyze my 1st 2 DMB shows 07&08 i only have 4 repeats... BUT from those 2 shows, only 35 songs were played.
And if i look at all time, i have 26 repeats out of only 46 songs... So, in 2 shows i have seen more Phish songs, than i have DMB songs in 4 shows.

Just things to ponder... this will be really fun to do, when i'm like 60 and retired, and have amassed more shows than i do now.

In 22 Dave Matthews shows, I've seen 138 different songs, including one Phish song. In 0 Phish shows, I've seen 0 songs of any kind. So who's better now???

also OP, what 2 phish shows did you go to where they played 53 different songs? an average 09 phish show would run about 20-23 songs.

so, 46 dmb> 53 phish songs because they are BETTER SONGS! I have been to Phish shows, going to one in two weeks BUT, I go to those shows for the jamming and lights. I go to DMB shows for incredible songs played with interesting arrangements.

If you want to equate quantity with quality go right ahead. For me it is about quality everytime. I actually wish Phish would stop pretending they even have songs and just do two sets of jams instead. Not hearing the words to wolfmans brother would not bother me at all.

I once saw those kids who play drums on five gallon buckets for dollar bills play 45 different songs in an hour. DMB could do worse than to take a page out of their book.....

oh... i like DMB more than Phish... no doubt about it.

I wasn't complaining... just though it was an interesting bunch of facts. I DO NOT CARE WHAT DMB PLAYS. i love ALL OF IT.
the onl way i'd feel disappointed is if i went to a DMB show and the played Stolen Away 18 times. then i'd be sad. but add even a cornbread in there and i'd love it.

ALSO, i saw hampton n3 and c-ville for whoever asked.
