Here's one of the songs that Mayer is on from Ocean's album. I'm not sure if he had any part in the first 8 minutes, but if you skip to 8:20ish it's basically a Mayer solo the rest of the way.

Re: John Mayer

This album has staying power, it gets better with each listen.

Queen of California is just great. It has become my favorite song on the album I think.

Re: John Mayer

Top 5 from the new album:

Queen of California
Walt grace
If I ever get around to living
Age of worry
Born & Raised

I agree that it has staying power so far. I listen to it all the time; it has become the soundtrack to my summer

This. Everytime I'm at the pool (which is everyday) I put this album on and just let it play. Surprisingly, it has sort of a summer feel to it which is great.

Re: John Mayer

Album has grown on me a lot since the first few weeks. Queen of California, Walt Grace's Submarine Test, Age of Worry, and Something Like Olivia are all still my favorites off the album, but the rest of the tracks are starting to grow on me.

Re: John Mayer

I listen to If I Ever Get Around to Living at least twice a day. Has catapulted into my top 10, and probably my top 5.

Also loving Age of Worry more and more. Wish it was a bit longer and built a bit more.

Re: John Mayer

I feel like a Face To Call Home is a wonderful bridge between his folk and blues material. The outro is just soaring in it's sound.

Re: John Mayer

If I Ever Get Around to Living sounds like a song you hear in the waiting room or on an elevator. It's so melodic and easy going. It's grown on me a little. It is the perfect background music imo.

I know every note of that solo in my head, but I just can't get my fingers to cooperate. I love to throw the "the eraser" tag at the end (a la 9/30/06; the contiuum release show)

Is he? So much for all those interviews about "changing" and wanting to avoid the spotlight.

Well that's cool. So the EP will be 1 new song and 4 'acoustic' B&R songs? Sounds good to me

I've got the Continuum song book, I could try to scan and email you the sheet music if you'd like.
