Re: Official Mile High Music Fest 10 Thread

What's up my colorado peeps

I still havent purchased tickets yet but chances are we'll be going. We went in '08 and it was a lot of fun. I would love to meet everyone and I think the "ants" area is a great idea. We moved to Colorado 4 years ago and have yet to meet our local dave heads.

Re: Official Mile High Music Fest 10 Thread

I just received this info via an email from KBCO.

http://www.kbco.com/pages/mhmf.html

Looks like KCBO interactive members will be able to purchase single day passes.

Re: Official Mile High Music Fest 10 Thread

Still haven't bought tickets, but there is no way in hell they don't offer single day passes right up to the concert, they lost their asses last year and should be happy to take anyones money this year.

Should be fun, praying for a nice day, no more 100 degree weather in commerce city plllllease!

Or maybe we can pray for 300 degrees and melt the whole city.

I agree city park would have been amazing. Plus their are TREES at city park. I am ok with the venue where it is at now. It's just not the best festival in the world and I think the venue plays a part in that.

Re: Official Mile High Music Fest 10 Thread

I just wish we had the option to camp like most of the other music festivals rather than being in commerce city and having to deal with I-70 traffic both days...but hey at least they're coming to Denver right! Not that i want to camp in Commerce City...obviously they would have to find a different site at that point

Re: Official Mile High Music Fest 10 Thread

Ants meetup would be cool, maybe even band together and camp up front. I'll be there ear-ly!
One-day passes rock, I could give a crap about Jack Johnson.

Good choice

PS: don't take the highways back your hotel, there are much faster back roads to get out of there that non-locals aren't gonna know.

I think I'll pass on being up front this year. The crowd in '08 got really nasty about letting my friend OUT, even though she was obviously extremely sick. But it will be fun either way!

A friend and I are heading up there from OKC area, and it will be my first time to be in Colorado. I didn't get PIT tickets to my Dallas show so I am really wanting to camp out to get a front-ish spot.

Re: Official Mile High Music Fest 10 Thread

So, with just one more DMB show in between now and the festival, I'm starting to get nervous about the setlist we'll be receiving. I really, really don't want to end up with the 'typical festival set' that Bonnaroo and HullabaLOU got this summer, especially considering we practically got the EXACT SAME set a couple years ago the the first MHMF. I plan on sending Stefan at least a few tweets reminding him of this, some of you should join me and help the cause! You never know if it could actually make a difference! Either way, I'm getting extremely excited for the show, and the entire weekend in general.

I would expect an average festival set list. I don't care it's still good music.

I go to Alpine every year and worry about the setlist every time. I am really looking forward to just the show for MHMF not going to get caught up in the setlist and I'm really looking forward to it. Just going to enjoy it and have a great time. It will be a typical festival setlist IMO unless the Colorado connection sways them a bit.

Yep, I don't know why people stress out about the setlists. They want their show to be the PERFECT show of the tour. Enjoy it and it will be perfect.

I just received my VIP sunday pass tickets. Anyone else on Ants buy these VIP tix? My hope is most VIP people aren't die hards and I'll be able to get front row lining up early in the morning... What say you?
