You played it pretty straight, without lots of embellishment (unlike a lot of youtubers who try their best to emulate every aspect and flourish of Carter's playing, and tend to fail more often than not), but on the other hand, you played it very steady. I'd rather hear a steady drummer than one that fills it in with all of Carters' fills but loses the beat. I like your solo(s) over the normal violin slot. Also your 3-over-4's (not sure the proper name) in the last 2 measures were pretty tight. Nice job.

thanks man! I too prefer tight playing over intense playing. I would rather make a solid cover than play nuts but sloppy.

Dude your really good! The snare sounds a little out of tune but i don't know drums so i don't know...But thats rock solid. I really like it. Your a really good drummer you have some of Carters style down for sure.

thanks a lot. this was one of my first recordings so the sound quality isn't nearly as good as it is now. plus i just put on a new snare head. the sound is much better.
