Have You Ever Been To A Show By Yourself

Tommrow night i will be attending my 15th DMB show which is in Washington DC. Im actually here on a trip with my family but sadly no one will go with me. Im just a short trip on the Metro away from the venue so i decided to pick up a ticket. I couldnt just not go, its only 5 miles away from where I am saying.

If you have ever been to a DMB concert alone, just tell some of your experiences.

I sit alone occasionally and it's great not having to worry about anyone but yourself.

i went to RR in 05 by myself, and ive gone to D.C. by myself also. i had a great time

I'm going to Wrigley on my own this year... but I'm guessing I can find some cool cats to hang with at the show.

I flew from Seattle to Chicago to go up and see the band at Alpine.... Then again, I ended up meeting with someone on the forums but I would've done it completely alone...I did sit alone at the show for one night.

Honestly, it kinda sucks to be alone at the show but that's just me. Everyone is different.

Just get f'd up and enjoy yourself.

I went in '05 by myself twice because I was 16 and none of my friends' parents would let them go. It is different but it is not bad. Friends make it better.

ive gone to most shows alone... btu at this point, i know a lot of people so i see friends at the tailgate/at the show

go to an ants tailgate and make friends!

i usually drag my sister to the shows since i pay for her tickets also. but she likes to tell me how much the band sucks during the concert, so im on my own now!

i sat alone at bethel last year and this year and it was sort of awkward during the opening act, but its cool.

I went alone to DC, and alone to Alpine (but met up with people before), and its pretty fun. I met some cool people sitting around me at Indy. At alpine, not so much.

I just did my first show by myself, and it was my 15th!

It was great to be there, but it's not as fun to not have someone to share with. Plus it depends on who you're around. Like when they played Seek Up, no one around me freaked out and it was pretty bummed no one was there to freak out with.

But, it was an experience. I don't know if I'll ever do it again.

I mean, I get there are more casual fans, but that was just such and awesome moment but I felt soooo lonely!

Just kidding, I find it awesome that this band is good enough for people to just say fuck it and go to the show meet some people, hang out, have a good time.
