I disagree that the BWGK songs will ever "equate" to these specific older tunes, but I think I may be in the AM.org minority that extremely appreciates these songs and still doesn't mind that the album gets 5-6 plays per show.

I think overall, this batch of songs contain depth, complexity, and simple listen-ability that DMB fans have not had much of since the early 2000's. Can we be critical of the tunes? Sure. Everyday, Stand Up, and a handful of other tunes have given hardcore fans a jaded outlook at this band. Some of that is alright - we shouldn't blindly accept every piece of music DMB creates. But that outlook and perspective has given armchair setlist watchers FAR too much voice when it comes to the quality of Big Whiskey and how the general fan base appreciates these songs.

lol, I just realized this. I think it's too hard to tell how much playing time they will get because of how much they play them now.

To me Shake Me is the contemporary DMB "Rapunzel" type song. Midtempo to upbeat, loud, lots of oral sex, is used to close and open sometimes, first track on album, etc.
