Good to see he has pretty wide appeal is my point. Also it is probably one of, if not the largest venue he's played. Good to see he can translate in terms of a larger-scale audience.

He rocked the SHIT out of his set. So energetic! He had a broken foot and was still bouncing around like a mad man. He showed why he earned that spot....awesome! Really took me by surprise how good he was on stage. His presence was perfect.

I don't know if Gambino makes all his own beats, but he's got some great beats on his songs. Listening to Longest Text Message right now and really digging the beat...same with Freaks & Geeks and a lot of the songs of Camp.

I don't see how you could be an avid hip-hop fan and not like Gambino. He has good beats and is a clever lyricist.

i don't see this at all. it just sounds like he tosses a bunch of metaphors together and then whips up a beat on pro-tools, kind of like what Wayne does.

I love Gambino, but clever lyrics don't always mean good. A lot of his are very cheesy/corny. I know that's a turn off for a lot people.

Yeah, but he's a comedian so it fits his persona. He didn't grow up in the hood, and he doesn't act like he did. Everything from his name to his song content is a little bit of a joke, and he acknowledges that in his lyrics.
