I once saw a fight on the DC metro between a large woman (who used to be a dude, I think) and some skinny chick. It was awesome.

no, it royally sucks.

Its hot, smells, its like youre in a fucking library...always lacking seats, and the fucking drivers are the worst......its like riding on a roller coaster....brakes are always smelling like theyre on fire......the seats are nasty......doors are breaking down and ya gotta get the fuck off and wait for the next one...escalators are a show.

It sucks. When I can take the Marc train I take that...(as long as its not hot out, because then those fuckers have heat orders to go slower than normal)

yeah, sometimes you get a janky car and it's just awful on the Metro.

I've had decent luck with it, though. I always get on (heh heh) at one of the first stops of the line, so the cars are rarely busy and there's always a spot to sit. Though, by the time you hit Metro Center, it's generally a cluster fuck.

its different on off times...im referring to during peak commuting hours.

but overall, its a crap system. outdated and in debt.

Ah yes, I never use it during commuting hours. I used to use it once a week going into the city for a 6:00 class in the DuPont Circle area, but I was going against the flow of commuting, so it wasn't terrible.

MARC > Metro, no doubt.
