2 years ago it didnt seem really small but i have been to another show there where the pit is that small.

I thought the pit was about half of the 100's section...doesn't that sound right? It's definitely not SPAC small, but not giant either.

Its just the first 8 or so rows of 100.

Definitely not half. For DMB, Coldplay, etc the first rows of seats behind the pit started at row 8.

I thought I was too old and passed on pit in 2010, then realized I never sat down. Decided I would try for it this year and got reserved.

So any ideas how many rows are in the 100's? I'm 12th row in the 200's, so I'm trying to figure out how far back I will be.

It is. Pit is 1-7, and 100's are 8-17. So the pit is a little less than half the 100's. Not half.

Had to move into a new apartment because a 720 sq ft 2 bedroom wasn't nearly big enough to hold Ed and his 2 gigantic kids for July 3rd

Not bad, not great. Darien is a pretty sucky venue all around

It's my hometown venue and I never miss a show but it is lacking in several areas. I am a Jan 02 member and I scored sec 302 row 5

I pulled pit seats the day of the show in 09, I wouldn't give up on that. You will have problem dumping your tickets at face though.
