I was hoping that they'd go back to Nats Park. Nissan is just brutal and I live in Arlington.

Lots of dumb asses that are piss drunk by the time the show starts. It's 100% that you'll see a fight. Annoying ass fans that make out the entire time. Terrible traffic...other than that is a great place to see a show. My advice is pay the $30 and get in the preferred parking so you get outta there before by 1am.

Nats park was so awful. pumped they are back at Nissan. Generally, (and ive only been to a handful of amps) while the crowd can be equally as annoying, it tends to be a tad older than a few other amps ive seen. Mainly, Vabeach. That place is high school central.

Nats Park was terrible. Concrete and Hot don't mix well. Good show though. Headed to Bristow for the 1st time.

nationals park sucked. It was not a good time, imo. Setlist sucked. ZBB sucked.

nissan is where it's at. tailgating is back just in time.

I know a lot of people didn't like Nats Park but I had a good time. Didn't have to worry about driving. It was 100 degrees and two people fainted that were around me. I remember getting home and my shoes were soaked from sweat.

It's kind of lame that the orchestra pit is standing general admission instead of assigned seats. I guess I'm getting old but they have never done that before. I like to be able to chill and know I have my assigned spot than worry about getting a space. Anyone know why they changed this?

Couple reasons:

-- The crowd that the GA Pit attracts tends overall to be a little more young and energetic, which the band likes.

-- More $$$$$ (can pack in more people when there's no reserved seats there)

last show here was in '09 - the last summer DMB did reserved seating.
09 had orcehstra...dont think it was assigned

nope it was. I remember because someone came up to me after Donovan Frankenreiter's set and thought I was in her seat, but she had the exact same row/seat combo in Section 3 (I was in Orch 1)

Scanning over the SPAC thread makes me so glad the tailgate ban was lifted this summer. The traffic may suck, getting in and getting out may suck, but damn if you can't throw a hell of a tailgate in those lots. I love this place.

so far, this and charlotte looks to be the best venue i'll see them at this summer. (Tailgating allowed)
Evidently it's not so cool at Spac, JB and non existent at VA Beach..
