Especially since it's a Friday. A lot of people (myself included) won't get off work until 4 or 5, guaranteeing that by the time I get to the venue, there's no chance to be at the front of the line for GA Pit. I didn't get GA Pit tickets in 2010 after getting reserved in years prior, and I'll probably just go with regular GA again this year.

Hey guys-
Already booked my campsite at Highmeadow Campground. I'll be there Thursday-Saturday. Lot 74. Two years ago, the campground was a blast to chill at and met some cool fans. Hope to meet more of you and some I met at Westbrook Lobster.

i got to my seats two years ago for the opener and saw people come in like 10 minutes before the show get almost to the front. theres plenty of room to work your way up even if you show up late. really no need to be there super early

I'm sorry, but it's sad when people are faking the fact that they are with Emergency crews to get to someone in the front because they are in need of assistance...yes this happened. They were eventually called out.

Half of the people who have GA front will skip the opener anyway. You won't get on the rail, but if you go in for the opener you'll be better off than most.

ive noticed in big ga eras if you come in during the opener you can get pretty damn close without being an asshole, and settling for a little bit of a side angle

take off. it's my normal friday off anyway, but if it wasnt i'd take off. if everyone else can make it, we'll be tailgaiting all day just like we always do.

i'll have to take off july 13th to go to starlake for the weekend. head to our friends house on thursday night

getting into the lot hours before is a must for hershey. traffic gets ridiculous starting like two horus before. even if you dont tailgate park the car and hang out in chocolate world and even walk to troegs

exactly. being 15 feet closer isnt worth standing there for hours.

plenty of room on the semi sides, and youre still close

Why anyone would park in the lots for tailagting is beyond me. Go across hersheypark drive into the grass fields. Much much more fun.

Ive done both and had just as much fun no matter where I was

We always set up in the grass along the access road there that loops around the front....

making first trip to hershey, visiting some friends out in philly then makin our way to show. Was wanting to know what acoustics were like from the grandstands? That best fits my paygrade.

I sat way back in the grandstand in 2008.I was able to hear everything fine.

This will be my 5th Hershey gig,and I always enjoy it....

The lawn ?...Its either seats in the grandstand,or GA front or rear.....I would suggest GA..but as I said before..the sound is good..is it great ? no its an open air stadium and the acoustics get lost..

They have rear GA for $40..in 2010 the rear was empty..and you can move about,buy food/drinks and hear everything fine....
