There's a Ker's Winghouse accross the street ( owned by Crawford Ker former NFL) from 'The Gary'. And the parking lot is part of the State Fairgrounds, so it's Grassy and full-blown tailgating city.

Just watch those Florida summer afternoon showers.

My countdown is in full effect. Looking forward to another damp year in Tampa to get the Florida swing started.

We need to remind Fonz about the Spoon tease in 2010 and see if we can get the full song this time.

Ybor City is right down the road, about 10 minutes. As for around the Amp, I'm not sure. I like about 20 minutes from it, but I never do anything in that area.

yeah i was just there in february for a bachelor party. unfortunately i think i gave back most of what i have won the past 2 years.

If you win big this time, go to Council Oak steakhouse @ the casino. Best steak in Tampa. It's a little pricy, but if you win, it's well worth it.

ive eaten there it is good. i like their buffett also. i come from a long line of degenerate gamblers so i always eat free at the hard rock. staying at the comfort suites right by the amphitheater so its going to be a pretty convenient time.

^I'm doing Tampa and N2 in WPB. Don't have a hotel yet, it's possible we'll be staying with a friend in the area.

Nice! My husband & I will be in the pit for the Tampa show & in the nose bleeds in the pavilion for both nights of WPB. Maybe we'll see ya!

I'll be doing the Florida run. Staying at the La Quinta in Tampa and the Hampton Inn WPB FL Tnpk Thurs - Sun.

I think a lot of Ants booked the Hampton with the reduced rate. Not sure if they have any availability left though.

My friend called them a few weeks ago and all they had left were the suites, I think...at the regular rates.

We'll be in the Lawn!

Not sure about tailgating.

Staying at the LQ but won't get there until about 3:30'ish.

We'll walk over and walk through the lot like the last time and see if we find anyone friendly!

If its raining, we'll probably just party in the hotel room first! Well, shoot, we'll do that either way! Haha!

This is still true. I called there on Tuesday. The lady said they accept cancellations 48 hours prior to the day of the reservation & call to check Wednesday & Thursday if you are dead set on the Hampton. It would obviously be wise to have a backup already reserved.

Yeah we'll be in the pit in Tampa and somewhere in the pavilion in WPB (my friend takes care of the tickets, can't remember where she said our seats were). I know it's somewhere close-ish to the front of the seats behind the pit, though.

From my experience, the earliest has been around 2 or 3. People are lined up pretty early though along 301. I have been here twice and always get there early. As for rain I have been lucky to not get rained on but I also plan on being in the pit this year (first time in there and third show this summer). Also FL rainstorms are brief and usually don't last long. Either way come prepared if you're worried about that stuff.

The last two shows here had firsts and 2010 was a pretty decent set. Tampa is fun but I'm a little biased as I went to school here.

Are there any Tailgate plans yet?
