I am so pumped for bethel this year. Amazing venue. If you have never been it is gorgeous and WAY more relaxed than SPAC. (Not hating on SPAC its just crowded and hectic) The only problem with Bethel is the parking which if you just accept it itsnt the end of the world. But that is what my question is about,

I know of a few back ways to get to the venue and I was wondering if anybody knows if you can get into the venue the back way or if they allow you to park back near the original woodstock site if the regular parking lot has not been filled? We parked back there in 2010 because we got there a little late and the regular lot was full.

Hey Bethel, long time no talk. I went in 2010 with a friend of mine and now we're returning with about 5 more people because of how beautiful it is. I can't wait!!!

The Days Inn in Liberty is very nice. The Liberty Diner is right next door and is good for post show munchies.

in 2010 i stayed at a howard johnson about 15/20 minutes away in liberty, ny. it was relatively cheap even though we had booked about a week before the show.

i can't tell you how much i ate the day after the show at that place. my mouth is watering just thinking about it

Everytime I go to Bethel, I have to go there for a grilled cheese!

I was actually in the area last May, and we made a special trip over to the diner for lunch!

Thank you! Those were the two that I was considering when I looked at the hotels on the venue's site. I guess I should book soon. I'm really looking forward to seeing this venue with all of the Woodstock stuff. I am not however, looking forward to the 4+ hour drive back to Baltimore. Eh... could be worse!
