The Hyatt or a few other ones near Great America in Santa Clara, only a few miles away and easy to get to/from.

There's some Hotels along El Camino Real to, right near Rengstorff and Shoreline Blvd. Rengstorff and Shoreline Blvd both run into Shoreline Blvd.

The hotels are:

Residence Inn Palo Alto/Mountain View 1854 W. El Camino Real (650) 940-1300

For a big outdoor venue its pretty good. I like the greek theater better for a show, but shoreline is much easier to get into and out of. If you have WH lawn the sound is pristine, as is section 202. Decent food, good crowd, overall great experience. And its DMB, so its gonna be fun!

We usually get pretty good shows here. Hope I get good seats from the WH!

shoreline definitely has a different mood then all the other venues i have been to. I can honestly see why in years past i got lawn seats instead of wh reserved. i CANT stand the wait to find out what seats i got. Its driving me nuts.

Hang in there brada, sure you'll get something good. Super excited for it to be the tour closer. Going to be interesting to see what set we get. I was not at 2010 but that looked superb on paper. 2006-2007 was fairly weak but so were a lot of other shows in those years...

I was there in 2006 and thought the sets were pretty good , especially in a not great year overall. N1 was a little slow with some outstanding bright spots, and N2 was really great energy. And Robert Randolph tore that place up both nights!

Didnt do 2010 shoreline but went to Concord and that was a very under rated show. I was getting a little tired of watchtower but they played one that night that was on fire, and stefan's intro was brilliant.

Always a good time in the bay! But I've only gone to bay area and gorge shows so my breadth of show experience is limited.

It's the only show for all of Northern California. I have a good feeling this show will be better than 2010's show. I was at 2010's show and that show is in my top 3 shows of the 20+ shows I've been to since 1998.

thats funny you say that... cause i just checked and got section 202 row y the last row in the section.......looks like ill have no problem getting beer or a piss break.

I'm shocked I didn't gt sec 202 this year. Got section 203, Row P. A little closer, but a little off center to. I don't care though. I'll be at the show and enjoying every minute of it.

where's the justice? oddly i don't really care (make no mistake that i'm disappointed we're not in the center), just happy to be there. should be a fun weekend.

I'm in Fair Oaks...nice to see the Sacramento area represented. I've been a member since 2008 & I got 202 Row S. It's way the hell up there, but at least it's a center section. Just glad to be in the venue (and not on the lawn..).

Shoreline is the most god forsaken venue in the states!! fuck that place!! i've only been to metal shows there though so maybe it will be better with Dave.
