someone explain to me how people nail the set list each and every show???? I went to 29 shows in a 12 month span in 2009-10, and I still sucked balls. its amazing that I go check the game and see the number of points people get. I always figure Stef is playing the set list game on ants or a roadie.....(?)

You must spend many hours studying dmbalmanac.com and find trends. You need to be aware if there are 2 and 3 night stands at venue and understand that these shows will be much different to the setlists at venues that only get one show. There is more but I can't remember them now... it's been many years since I participated. The first few shows will be more of a crap shoot because a "rotation" has not been established. There will be songs that get played more often in the beginning of the tour then fall off the map and others that come out of nowhere and are played more at the end of the tour.

They don't usually count festival shows as part of the setlist game.

You want tips...take them from me, the Setlist Game champion of the world. 2007 - 4th place. 2008 - 2nd place (lost by one point on the triplets during the last show!). 2009 - 2nd place. 2010 winter - 1st place. 2010 summer - 1st place. 2011 - 2nd place.

Plus, you guys should check out dmbgame.com. A little different spin on the setlist game. Sometimes he updates it during the show.

I fully plan on 1st place this year. Good luck!
