Oh yeah, I understand that entirely. Predicting a criminal prosecution is very tough. Even slam dunks can go either way.

One scenario says it was a murder, another says it was an accident, the third scenario is that it happened in self defense.

Not seeing a racial motivation here - it does not appear he went out and shot a black kid because of racist motivations. If the state found anything that could be construed as a racial motivation wouldn't Zimmeman have been additionally charged with a hate crime?

Didn't want to start a new thread since there's this one and I think another one similar, but thought I'd post this to see what people thought. To me, it seems like excessive use of force. http://www.jsonline.com/news/milwauk...147411635.html

More unlucky cops. The one time they use excessive force and disrespectful language, it is caught on tape

They should realize in this day and age there's probably someone, somewhere, listening and watching. Bad use of judgement in my opinion.

came here to post this...seems like excessive force? Wow, maybe the problem is that the citizens still have a problem believing their own eyes! It is clear as day, the guy is on the ground, hands behind his back with no signs of resisting and takes 4 blows to the head, 2 from the cop and 2 from the pavement..listen to the sound of this again! damn! Milwaukee cops are pieces of shit, they are getting investigated currently by the FBI for illegally strip searching residents of the inner city in a systematic, unlawful way.

they are unable in most cases to think rationally..the cops I know and grew up with are all fucking sad people now..depressed, alcoholics..dont want to hang out anywhere except known "Copper" hangouts...fucking losers. they are overwhelmingly racist, arrogant, low IQ grunts. They are victims as well in a way. And their spouses are probably the most unhappy in many cases.

Sad times for that dead cop + his family + community. Kind of irrelevant to the discussion of police brutality though.

You're legally allowed to beat the fuck out of a suspect as long as you continuously scream "Stop resisting!"

Surprised you didn't know that.

I have 3 very close friends who are cops..2 in district 7(the worst) and 1 in 5(where they are shakin people down)...none of those would survive a fist fight with most people who know how to handle themselves, and they are all relatively big guys...I dont think, as a matter of fact, any of them had been in a fight ever in their life...now? they are ALL racist, and pretend tough guys. And this is how they act around me, someone who knows they arent tough, so they tone it down in front of me cuz they know Ill call them out...I cant imagine how they act when it is just the boys in blue together.

A couple of those nut cases who beat Frank Jude went my high school too, different guys though...

Nope. They are waiting to find out the conclusion of this thread but the lack of a poll makes the conclusion hard.

Another unlucky cop: The one time he uses excessive force and breaks someone's neck, he is being filmed, and he actually gets fired. Of course now the police union wants the police chief fired for getting rid of this very professional and compotent officer.

Holy shit! Totally uncalled for. Although, the guy may have had a gun, so the cop needed to go in thinking his life was on the line.

*waits for Dre to deliver his typical BS about cops getting killed and nothing is "routine"*

i think you should re-read what ive said over time in these threads. your above statement is beyond retarded anyways considering this is a far different situation than a traffic stop or house raid.

but no...typical BS from roger.

I agree with Lee on this one....totally uncalled for.

But Roger...maybe stuff pertaining to law enforcement is the same as your expertise in beers.....your opinion is "less refined".

Im far from a cop apologist. In cases where its clear that an officer is overstepping his line, or not following protocol, Im very against it, and Ive stated as such many many times here. in cases where its clear that an officer is following protocol yet the general public is ignorant to why things are done the way they are done, i try to educate on why its done that way. Thats far from being a cop apologist.

In the case above, its very clear that the officer was too aggressive. no excuse for it and im not sure how people can be speaking out against his firing

Re: Usually I stick up for cops, but this is pretty bad...

Well, IMO, your tendency is to stick up for cops and protocol more than necessary, but that's understandable considering you used to be a cop. I'm more on the other end of the spectrum because I've never been a cop but have seen cops harass people way more than necessary at times. What's right is probably somewhere in the middle. That being said, I still love seeing douchebags being put in their place by cops like that kid on St. Patty's day here in the city. I think you took my post a little too seriously. But whatever. I'm just wasting time before I have to help a friend move.
