Re: Seth MacFarlane's movie debut (TedC)

I saw a trailer on tv the other day and thought it looked dumb as shit. Now seeing the youtube uncensored trailer this looks hilarious.

Re: Seth MacFarlane's movie debut (TedC)

The Bears voice is not as high pitched and he almost has a slight Boston accent going on. I mean ya they are a little similar but when the bear talks I definitley don't think Peter Griffin right away.

It's a little deeper than Peter's voice, but it still sound damn near the same and still was the first thing I thought of when I saw the preview.

I had no that Seth Mcfarlane was behind the movie when i was shown the preview and knew immediately as soon as I heard Ted speak. It sounds like Peter because it IS Peter, lol.

oh and yes, this movie looks funny as shit.

I'm glad Seth is branching out with his ideas. Having his main male character have a non-human friend? Brilliant!

Re: Seth MacFarlane's movie debut (TedC)

It sounded more like a McFarlane voice from Robot Chicken, though I'm blanking on which one. But it's certainly a voice closer to McFarlane's Peter voice than it is to, say, his Roger the Alien voice, or his Stan Smith.

Re: Seth MacFarlane's movie debut (TedC)

I thought this movie was a romantic comedy about a guy who is scared of thunder and childish things, and how he has to overcome those fears and yada yada.

Then a fucking bear runs into the room.

I have to go see this

Watched the trailer earlier today.

Then tonight at work there were some bad storms in the area, and really loud thunder. I couldn't get the thunder song outta my head

That's what I thought. Seems like he's doing Peter's voice without laying it on so thick. That being said though, this movie looks hilarious. I'll be seeing it for sure.

I'm not a big Family Guy fan anymore, American Dad can suck it, Cleveland Show is whatever...this movie has MAJOR potential.

Big meh. Looks like Family Guy with curse words. That's not a good thing. Plus, Whalberg is terrible (although the trailer park chick scene, while far too long, displayed some nice comic timing).
