Petition To Stop Premium Ticketing

As many of you know, the Warehouse introduced the terrible new Premium Ticketing policy this year in which the best seats have gone to those willing to pay the most instead to senior and random members. After a lengthy conversation with some fellow friends, we decided to put together a petition to try and stop this madness and restore the old ticketing policies. We know that not everyone is in agreement with us in thinking that this new policy is a bad thing for the community, but we hope that those of you do feel the same way will take the time to sign the petition. We hope that enough people will get behind this that Stefan will actually take a minute to consider stepping in to help.

OP, can you edit the content? Why not point out that the Warehouse continues to claim that tickets will get better the longer you remain a member, when that is a flat out a lie for at least the past two regular tours where seniority was pushed back 5-15 rows due to Pit in 2010 and another 5-15 rows this year due to Premium: https://whsec1.davematthewsband.com/...MemberBenefits

Also, I think the scalping angle is weak as they can claim the merch is worth the difference, and they've been offering VIP for years at a higher price with no complaints.

this will be fruitless.

if the wh didnt do premium seats, livenation would've taken those same tickets and sold them as VIP. this was the only way for the WH to get those tickets.

Completely disagree. DMB is a big enough pull that the WH can do whatever they want with those seats. They have been for WH members in the past and should stay that way.

not sure how i really stand on the issue
i can't really afford to do premium, and i hate how much of a money grab this shit is... but...
at the same time though, if i was only doing one or two shows, i might consider doing it to keep myself away from the shit storm that WH and live nation ticketing are, and secure myself some good seats,

Wait- the petition likes pit, which took seats from wh seniors but does not like premium which also took seats from wh members.
I know there is a price difference there but shouldn't the petition be against both?
