Here's the thing about this argument. Very few bands in history have ever had as many fans see them multiple times, let alone double digits as DMB has. No other band is as spoiled as this one. They certainly earned everything they have at this point, but there is also a HUGE amount of luck involved in how obssessed fans get. You can make all the financial/business arguments you want and sure, you're correct, but there is something to be said about not completely being an entity of money-grabbing douchiness.

How many other industries penalize returning customers or customer loyalty? Even the failing airline industry continues to give loyal customers benefits. I'm not necessarily arguing we should be getting free shit all the time or something, but there's a point where at least not regressing is a good thing.

Done. But seriously what we need to put a stop to are the Ticket Middle Men that are boning all of us that don't get the tickets to the biggest shows as soon as they go on sale. Quadrupling the price hurts.

A lot of the time Ticket Middle Men were the first ones to sell the tickets. It's a rigged system. Doesn't change the point of your comment, but sometimes it IS the only way you can get tickets.

There will always be someone willing to pay said middle man for tickets, and as such it's stupid to ignore it as a potential source for tickets even if you personally disagree with the practice. That doesn't mean people can attempt to organize and stop the Warehouse from essentially being the middle man.

They are providing a service based on the false idea that you could get these tickets normally for face value. (talking about middle men now, not premium tix, before you get your panties in a bunch again).

Out of the hundreds of shows I've gone to, I've probably used Stubhub 5 times, so I don't support them. So I'll stay on my moral high horse while you stay on your I'm-the-world's-most-unhappy-human-being horse.

Actually, the last few years, they haven't used Row AAA for Dave (Use as barrier instead) so I think those are actually front row. Well worth $250. Congrats.

I'm not worried about the premium tickets. They need to stop the Citi pre-sale most WH members were denided for good seats while Citi card holders got almost all of the PIT and Lower sections. This made me feel like the sopnsers are more important than the fans.

I would disagree with you. Premium Tickets get a lot more of the good seats than any presale, including Citi.

I am no longer a member of the warehouse, and I rarely attend DMB concerts anymore, though I have been to more than 30. I just can't bring myself to spend a few hundred dollars for 2 tickets to see them. Still my favorite band. But too expensive for my blood. Now this premium ticket thing... bullshit, DMB already brings in a couple MILLION per show according to pollstar, mind you that is before their daily overhead expenses, which I imagine is hundreds of thousands... Anywho, reduce ticket prices, and give the senior members of warehouse first dibs.

So, the person whose credit card i used to buy one of my hartford tickets recently moved cross country to cali. How am i supposed to show will call the card and is it a photo id of the person who bought them or warehouse/ live Nation persons name
