It is amazing the lengths you go to defending every single thing related to DMB. How any fan could possibly justify the decision to sell off the best possible seats to those willing to pay more than 3 times face value, while at the same time making everyone's tickets (not just senior members) worse, is beyond me.

"Face Value" is whatever they choose to sell it at. They can sell their tickets for whatever the hell they want to, you decide if you want to pay or not. It's called business and business is good.

Except that the constitution still applies to today's society. The idea that every seat in a venue is valued the same does not. Some seats are worth more.

It only pushes people a few rows back, and I have seen that some VIP tickets really werent that great. Do you really need to be front row to have a good time?

As Chad said, it's not just the day 1 members who get bumped back.

3-10 rows for me, as a 2004 member, is the difference between uppers and lowers. Took me 6-7 years to finally get enough seniority to make it to lowers, then all of a sudden with GA Pit and Premium Ticketing, people who joined yesterday are ahead of me and I'm back in the uppers.

I'm not opposed to the general concept, but this in particular makes me really sad. There should be some under the table (and dreaming) way to ensure tapers always get quality seats.

Also additionally if I ever got great tickets via premium ticketing and a taper genuinely needed one, I'd trade in a heartbeat.

If the warehouse didn't buy these tickets, they would go to live nation, resellers or even worse..private companies that buy the tickets and give them away.. I was horrified this year at Hershey when a bunch of moronic pinheads came out onto general admission with a sign that said show your VW keys and get upgraded to pit.... Needless to say I saw 3 couples get upgraded to pit because they showed VW keys... How about the days when Warehouse used to do this and you showed your warehouse membership, keyring, special tickets etc?? The private companies and the venues are ruining the process, Warehouse is compensating accordingly..

From a business perspective it makes sense.. the people who have seniority are now older and are willing to spend more money on tickets.. the fact is. it DOES work this way.. and they know it.

They've never, ever respected seniority, everything has always been random plus a little intentional finagling. Adding premium seating was the smartest thing they have ever done. This cuts down on stubhub by allowing folks with money to buy into the good seats at a fair price.

Most of you never even go through stub hub for tickets. Most of you put your ticket in the hat and hope to get something decent, because it's all you can afford. This applies to many of you. The Warehouse is your one stop shop for tickets, and whatever you get, you get. You don't go hunting elsewhere at higher prices.

Well, many others DO. And because of that, most good seats end up on stub hub, and are purchased for double the original price or greater. THAT was and is a big problem, and it gets addressed by this Premium Ticketing through the Warehouse. Smart move. Much more important than giving a pit seat to a 2 year member in the random pool. MUCH, more important.

I'm willing to pay more, i'd rather it go to the source. Besides by joining warehouse we paid extra to get to the front of the ticket line anyways. Your petitioning against warehouse. Will not sign.

OR, the WH could will-call everything. That'd eliminate most of the scalping, and would get more WH members tickets for face.
