We were just there on Saturday before BNL/Blues Traveler and aside from the bartender having absolutely 0 personality, it was fine. No happy hour specials though...they didn't start until after 9pm? Maybe we missed something, or because it was a Saturday?

We got their early, so maybe it was a lunchtime booze special

Union Block at The Esperanza Mansion, looking over Keuka Lake, is hosting a pre-show party from 1PM-4PM. Dreaming Tree Acoustic Duo (members of Big Eyed Phish) will be performing! There is a full bar with plenty of Dreaming Tree Wine. Esperanza is about a 30min drive from CMAC. There are also rooms available (888-927-4400; mention the show for a 10% discount).

Let me know if you plan on coming. If there is enough interest we could get a bus / limo to and from CMAC.

They focus more on entertainment than great wines. People love the place cause it's fun but if you're looking for good wine, it's not the place to go.

I always wondered (when coming from I90 West direction) if it would not be better to go to the next exit (Manchester) and take that route into Canandaigua- i.e. the back way. Also, a way to cut all the lights in downtown is to take the left on rte 21 (I think it is) and start your back road journey to the site.

If I can make this show, I will be walking to and from my residence for the evening.

I always take the Manchester exit. With the cdga exit, you actually kinda back track as 332 ends up going in a NW direction
