2012 Fall Tour

Has this been discussed? With the album coming out in September, they will tour this fall, correct? Any rumors floating around?

I feel like I'm going to need another show or two this year.

Oh you know it. It will be East coast all over again just like the Fall tour in 2010.

Hey, but I'm due for a MSG trip so you won't hear any bitching from me. (Not that I ever do.)

That part will be the Southwestern states, as it always is. And they deserve to bitch, they're constantly neglected.

Not when shows there in Spring 2009 sold roughly 10,000 tickets.

Yeah, fair enough. I still feel for the few fans that are there. Just sucks to have to travel to see shows. Shit's expensive.

Re: 2012 Fall Tour

Sucks that even when a band can draw 10,000~ people to a show, some (promoters, band mgmt, etc) don't see that as "successful". I know shows in the east can draw way more, but I think 10k in that part of the country is pretty impressive. Am I unrealistic? Haha.

Hoping for a fall tour as well - I don't see why they wouldn't do that and then maybe go overseas in 2013 for Europe and possibly some others, returning for a 2013 summer tour. MSG, 1-2 in the south and mostly northeast stuff.

Re: 2012 Fall Tour

If its an album tour, they have to expand to more than just the east coast...I would think.

And even though they are only 7 shows into the summer tour, they don't have a ton of time, and if its going to be an album tour, it should be a fairly significant tour, right...If they are planning a tour, its already in the working, so I'm just hoping to hear some rumors.

I'm hoping for a return to the Sprint Center in Kansas City...

Re: 2012 Fall Tour

If you look at their tours following crash and BTCS, both fall tours, they hit the west coast as well, including Oregon and even Idaho. I think that's a better example of an album tour. They will be playing a lot of college campuses while school is in session this fall, which generates a lot of ticket sales.

Surely there will be a tour in support of the new album.
I'm hoping for Fall DMB and Winter D&T. That would be sweet.

Because we all know Stefan is the beacon of knowledge when it comes to DMB tour dates. Band members don't know what they're having for breakfast tomorrow, much less what they're doing in the Fall. These dates are entirely possible.
