I'm hoping for a return to the Sprint Center in Kansas City...
Me too!! I was at the 2009 Sprint Center show. It was my first show!! Please come back to KC DMB!!!

Re: 2012 Fall Tour

I'd say a fairly extensive fall tour is very likely due to the fact that

A- The new album comes in September
B- This year's summer tour had a very basic itenerary

Cities/venues that are likely to be played:

Likely stops:
NYC x2- (MSG might not be available due to renovations, lots of other bands are playing other venues like IZOD Center, Prudential Center etc)
Boston
Philly
DC
Chicago- maybe 2 shows?
Denver
Charlottesville

Cities that don't have amphitheaters that DMB could play on an arena tour:
Columbus (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!)
Louisville
Nashville/Memphis
New Orleans
Des Moines or Omaha, not both
Charleston SC
Little Rock
San Antonio or Austin
OK City or Tulsa
Kansas City- Apparently Sandstone is out?
Champaign
Las Vegas
Portland
Vancouver
Montreal
Edmonton?
Calgary?
Winnipeg?

Then of course, 2013 you'll have Europe, Australia, and a full on summer tour with Albuquerque, Phoenix and Salt Lake City thrown back in, as well as more California stops, a market that they are increasingly unpopular in for some reason?

It lines up with the 2010 fall/winter schedule of dates and venues, at least the 3 that I caught. If this happens.. Gave up on Red Rocks this time around; the speculation of another tour this year will provide plenty of entertainment.

I'm with you. Why did extra dates just magically appear today? And pretty sure the NHL/nba don't have finalized schedules yet for places like Boston, MSG...

I hope they stop at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh... Just because they would rock it and CONSOL Energy Center was named the nation’s Best New Major Concert Venue for 2010 at the 22nd annual POLLSTAR Concert Industry Awards

Montreal would be SWEET .. pretty sure they don't play Montreal too often - though it might be nice to return to cities that haven't seen DMB for 10+ years such as Ottawa (ie. where I live, hehe).

But from what I hear, they are not in a rush to play any more Cdn shows?

Based on how it played out in 2010, I'd have to agree with you.

I wish. I saw them both times they were here - and they've only played here in 2003 and 2009. Time for a return to the Natural State.

I like the Chesapeake Energy in OKC...but honestly, they will play the Sprint Center in KC before they come back to Oklahoma.

End the set in Red Rocks, get the trucks loaded, travel 1200+ miles and be setup at the Gorge and ready to perform ~45 hours later. It's only a 20 hour haul.
