I was using Internet Explorer and that happened to me. I tried Firefox shortly afterward and it worked fine. Give that a try if you haven't...

Loving this OSW. The intro sounds so tight.

Sweet, I'll have to buy this when I got internet access!

Re: New DMBLive - Masquerade Nightclub 3.2.94

Great to read positive comments on this release so far. Here's the most exciting news about this one - DMB finally has a live release that has seen nothing in the way of copious amounts of dynamic range compression. This is an ANTI-LOUDNESS WARS RELEASE!! That definitely helps it sound better than all the other DMBLive releases, because the only other one that measures "GREEN" on the dynamic range meter is one of the Dave solo ones, volume 4 I think it was. This is fantastic stuff.

13DR!!! \m/ \m/

Shame about Live Trax 22, 8DR. Not the worst LT, but it's up there.

DMBLive series in order, the first DR column is the most important.

This is great news! I think I am going to write them to thank them to encourage them to do this again. Not sure why the newer releases, even LT22, have to be super compressed.

Thank you! Been waiting for you to chime in on this one. What great news!

And yea, such a shame about LT22. I've only listened to a few tracks and have been really disappointed with the sound. Does not sound good at all.

Re: New DMBLive - Masquerade Nightclub 3.2.94

I sent this letter to Bruce Flohr and Red Light Management:

I would like to thank Red Light Management for the recent live releases that have increased in dynamics DMBLive 18 - Masquerade Nightclub, Tampa, FL (03.02.94) and Live Trax vol. 21 release that came out a few months ago, which had an average dynamic range of 13db and 11dB. Those are the first releases from DMB to see more than 10dB since the independent release “Remember Two Things” in 1993 which had 15dB of dynamic range. Please continue this phase and I will be sure that more and more people will buy the releases. I would also encourage you all to ensure the new album also have increased dynamics. We owe the music that much.

Thanks again!

Awesome stuff!

It definitely goes a long way when you send comments of appreciation like this for a job well done, we don't sent in positive feedback enough in most situations. I'm sure they'll be glad to read your comments.
