In the sense that their music faded into obscurity, yes, but Vanilla Ice was forced to sign over his rights to Ice Ice Baby to Suge Knight, so I don't think he ever tasted/blew a true fortune the way MC Hammer did.

There are just an endless amount of scumbags in the music biz these days, whether it be producers company owners or musicians themselves. Modern music makes me sick. The 50's, 60's and 70's were true fuckin musicians. Now it's just a fucking business. It's all stockholder/corporate money grab. No need for talent. They jus manufacture now. Now music is just a fucking product. Like fucking toilet paper or cigarettes.

Plenty of truly great, authentic, original, brilliant music being made today. You just won't find it on MTV or on your local radio station.

Exactly my point. Mainstream is about quantity now. Not quality. I just hate what sells these days. People just fucking eat what's forcefed to them from birth. I guess in a sense that's how it's always sort of been but moreso now than ever.

Just once in my life I would like the opportunity to be able to throat check Chad Kroeger. I don't know where I don't know how, because I'd never be near one of his concerts, but if I ever saw him on the street I would literally go for a throat rip or an elbow to the voice box. Afterward I would pin him down cut off all of his fucking beautiful bleach dyed flowing locks with a pair of scissors. Then I would kick him in his balls really hard, just once because anymore might be suitable for a lawsuit... ? Then I would walk away smiling and probably jump off a building or something.
