Dead Creek camping

My brother & I will be arriving at Dead Creek campground sometime in the mid-later afternoon Thursday the 24th. Once we get camp set up we would like to hangout with fellow ants and maybe have a few drinks and what-have-you. If anyone else is interested, lets get something organized!

head over to the creek thread, cuz that's generally where people talk about all things creek

Oops, I meant the 21st.....

Yeah I tried that but that forum is so damn busy usually stuff like this gets lost in the thread. I wanted to create a thread just for DC get togethers.

Hopefully it doesnt get locked up.

i can understand that, but there are a lot of people in the thread planning get togethers at dead creek already....just my two cents. cheers!

well if nothing pans out in this thread then i will just wander around and look for the largest group of people.

I gotta admit, while I love the enthusiasm and prolificness the Deer Creek thread provides, but if you're someone who doesn't check the thread multiple times a day and are just trying to get some basic information, that thread is impossible to try and sift through. Pages and pages of random convo/inside jokes with an occasional nugget of actual Deer Creek-related talk.

There could really stand to be a "relevant info only" subthread in there...
