Future band member collaborations

I ran across this phone chat between Bruce Hornsby and the creator of one of his fan sites. I would encourage everyone to download. It got me wondering what potential and realistic collaboration projects we might see in the future. The band has plenty of solid years left I'm sure, but there has to be a point where things will slowly fade away and leave some open room this type of stuff.

Without straying to far away from DMBc, listen to the chat with Bruce at around the 56 minute moment on. He mentions a potential "super-group" which really caught me off guard while listening to it once he dropped the name. I've posted a few times about Hornsby but I truly feel like he is one of the most under rated artists/bands playing right now. We just saw them in Bethlehem, PA and they barely sold out a place that holds 800-1000 people.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on this? What other potential collaborations/super-groups do you think we may eventually see?
