Multiple posts in this thread have sig potential.

We don't know the full details of your situation, but sometimes if you become clouded with smoke and booze, other things begin to piss you off for really no reason. If that is not be the case, then disregard that comment. But just taking a step back and thinking of what you do have and what you do like, while also considering the things you'd like to change, is a good way.

Someone already said it, but just drink heavily on down time. Everyone seems better when you're drunk. Unless you are one of those get drunk and fight people, then you are just an asshole and nothing will help.

If you're covered, it shouldn't be too steep.

Do what you can to be good to yourself in the interim. Find some sort of relaxation technique that works for you — take a walk, throw a ball, breathing exercises, yoga, whatever.

Honestly pretty sure your insurance kicks in earlier then that.
Not sure it's legal to have you not covered so you may want to check with hr.
Also- there are many companies that offer 1-2 "mental health" visits at no charge and not through hr.
Check your staff handbook/policy.
Again- I would def question start date on insurance. That sounds off to me.
And then I would go talk with a professional.

I speak from experience. I was extremely depressed last year and this was exactly how I felt about everything.

I went to both of my grandfathers funerals and was a Paul bearer at both and I didn't cry at either of them. I was numb to everything.

It sounds like OP is at the beginning stages of depression.
