It's about equal for me. You and Me is supposed to be a cheesy love song. Gaucho is supposed to be serious, and the lyrics take away its credibility.

The lyrics hit home to me too. I am having my first child in September and I can see myself having that conversation with her telling her about USA's/the worlds past and how great we were and how the world has changed for the worse and we need to work to get it back. And it isn't only about politics, it is about how people treat each other, how we interact and everything. Technology has people forgetting what is important about relationships and life.

Love the song more than any first studio song since DDTW.
