Album Preview Video: Is this "Broken Things"?

I'm getting the impression that this new album is going to be much more musically dynamic than BWGGK, not that I don't like BWGGK, but so many of the songs have the same feel throughout as opposed to a song like Warehouse.

DMBConnect just tweeted that the song in the video is the beginning of Drunken Soldiers. Confirmed by Corey who heard the album.

Might just be me but Im not the biggest fan of the spanish horn sound. But the rest sounds awesome. So happy that Steve is back. He really lets songs BREATHE and develop on an album. This just sounds like it would be an awesome Opener for a show thus far.

Let's just point out one more time how absolutely ridiculous it was to assume this was broken things. It was a 1/7 chance your best guess would be true and other than that you had nothing to base this question on. Hilarious.

i feel like the intro to "Drunken Soldiers" and the "That's not a star, it's a satellite" lyric are 2 different songs. The intro doesn't seem to segue into the song very well. Regardless, can't wait to hear the album, and can't wait to hear "The Riff" tomorrow. I hope it's a big exciting upbeat song because Sweet would segue great into a song like that.

I've only listened to the clip twice but I had the same impression. Sounds like a quick crossfade between two songs.

Having said that, the effects on the vocals on the "That's not a star..." are sensational and something they've never doen before.
