To be quite honest i feel like Rap is a genre that doesn't have much staying power and is very much a 'periodical' in terms of quality, versus rock music that has instrumentation and singing and production quality that is layered.

So far you've all listed a whose who of corporate artists who play it safe. They might make great music, but they are also playing right into the system of insanity. Not one of those people really stand up for what's right in this world. They are all in on it, and it is a very bad thing.
John Mayer is an Abercrombie Stevie Ray Vaughn. No idea why any grown man would be mesmerized by that guy. If you are a girl, maybe. Yeah Pearl Jam and Radiohead are pretty good, but come on, man, the test of old man time is hard. Those who know about my art know how I feel. I don't want to come on here self promoting, but if you know about the best of my art and don't list me, you are an idiot. The difference between me and all these people you are listing is that I really have made the best art in the world. The people you list just go around this world like they own it, but they are a slave to it. I really don't care, but for my art's sake, yeah, I'll stand up for it if you won't.
