I wouldn't even bring up what venue I'm partial to when comparing sets, especially of shows I didn't attend. Venue has nothing to do with sets.

Im glad your calm. If you read back, you will notice the OP had a main objective to see who the SPAC ballwashers are. As much as I love SPAC, the sets were like night and day, and I agree that Alpine had much better sets. I agree venue has nothing to do with the sets, but as for the thread itself, I mentioned that because the OP was interested to see who was voting for SPAC just to vote for SPAC. I felt it was warranted.

i've been to Alpine, other than setlists, nothing would really make me want to go back. had a great time in 2010 but sadly nothing stuck out and made me go "wow i need to come back here every year". Honestly, I wish it was that way as I have tons of friends who go every year who love the place. I'm sure one of these days I'll go back though.

this shouldn't be a poll but since spac n1 was a great show i guess it was going to come. was at both and the Alpine weekend completely runs over it. i dont even know how to describe this past weekend after getting home. Best weekend ever.

Was at both and Hartford n2 was amazing but it doesn't even compare to alpine n1 or n2. you weren't at alpine so that's why you're saying that. ive seen halloween 3 times this summer im actually happy we got thank you. sometimes its better when the crowd goes nuts because of what is happening on stage like alpine n2 (dave and stanley jordan dancing, rashawn and jeff with the super soakers). rather than one song.

Sidenote: I think i may be the only one who enjoyed SPAC N2 better than N1... weird i know. It was just a more fun show i thought.

I'll probably get crap for this but I think Deer Creek was better than SPAC. Deer Creek had So Right, Watchtower w/ Gary Clark, Typical Situation, Seek Up, Song Jane Likes, Pig, Dancing Nancies, and Fool To Think. Plus the crowd energy was unlike any show I'd been to and the band was on fire. I'm sure I'm the minority in thinking this.

I agree. N1 SPAC stunk which gives the weekend to Alpine (but I think SPAC N2 trumps both nights at Alpine)
