Interested in acquiring the CP bonus disc? Not interested in shelling out $150 on eBay to buy it? As mentioned in the Last Stop poll thread, share your story on why you should be the lucky winner of this highly sought after collection of songs. I'll pick the winner based on my own arbitrary and twisted sense of humor. Just submit your story before midnight Sunday of this weekend. I'll review submissions, announce the winner Monday and send the disc to the winner free of charge.

Central Park is the release that got me into the band initially. Since then, I've gone through three copies of each disc because I've listened to it so much, bought the DVD, found a ticket stub to the concert, and just recently got a poster of the event signed by BT. The Bonus Disc would complete my collection, and having a completed collection of the concert that got me into the band that has dominated my musical life for the better part of a decade would be killer.

Yeah, I would like the disc. I want to add it to my dmb collection. I have a few singles and a few vinyls. Would like more rare items cause I like collecting them and then listening to them.

Figured that wasn't gonna be the emotional response you were looking for; didn't expect to win. So, I just posted a watered down version of it instead of writing out the whole (short) story... which I've now done.

After I figured out I wasn't going to win since I don't place a high emotional value on physical goods, I originally posted, "I'm watching Office Space on Comedy Central right now." Figured that was too irreverent and edited.

Would that have gotten me more points in the "Lamest submission contest?"

Very likely. But there's a certain honor in the lamest submission. Still superlative in its way.

I want to win this contest for the CP bonus disc because I have only won one other contest in my life. I won the runner up prize for a coloring contest for the Houston Chronicle Newspaper in the 4th grade. I received two front row tickets to the circus, however I was unable to attend because of my fear of clowns. By winning this cd, it would help close out a bitter chapter of my life that I have been holding onto now for 20 years. Thanks and God speed.

Central Park was my FIRST Dave Matthews Band Concert. I was 13 years old and happened to be in NY visiting family and my cousins took me to the show. I honestly wasn't into DMB other than the radio tunes and there mainstream stuff. I just remember even though we got there a little late and were so far away from the stage, I was overwhelmed with how incredible what I was hearing was. It was basically the start of my DMB obsession, 24 shows since then, and ill never miss a show within reasonable driving distance, ever.
