Someone burned 3 Maxell DVD-R discs for me and none of them will play in my DVD player. I have about 12 Maxell DVD-R discs that play just fine, so I don't think the problem is the brand or the format. I e-mailed the person who burned the discs for me and I really don't think he believes that they won't play. He said he tested them before he sent them. I have tried the discs in other DVD players, but they don't work either. I have a Toshiba DVD player and when I put the DVD in, it's says "Loading. . ." and then when it should start playing. . .it stops and says "Disc Error." I could understand if just one of them did it, but all 3 of them do it. I don't have a DVD-ROM on my computer to see if it works. I was wondering if he could have burned them wrong. Can anyone help me think of a reason why these will not work? Like I said before, I have never had problems with Maxell or with DVD-R. I have tried all of them since and my other ones still work fine.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.
