The Chet's sound on LIC

Does anyone else notice how different his chet sounds on this release than it does on any other. You can especially hear it on Watchtower. It sounds like a really fast chorus effect or something. I know that he has all kinds of stuff to alter his guitar sound but this is the only time that I have heard it this way (for instance Live at 10 Spot has a more distorted sound).

Another question would be: is this an effect that was used at the concert or was added to the sound for the release of the cd?

Any thoughts? Anyone?

More than likely, it's Tim's guitar fills. He and Dave can pretty much play in sync whenever they want. Tim was playing a Les Paul Custom.

yeah, listen to any winter 1998 shows. this is why the band sounds so good when tim guests.

well of course. Tim MADE BTCS what it was. That's why none of the BTCS songs sound as good without tim...PNP>Rapunzel..eh? Last Stop..great, but not..hard..enough.

that year, they were putting a chorus effect on Dave's guitar at the Beginning of Watchtower. The rest of the show, it doesn's have that effect on it.

on the live at the 10 spot, don't drink the water had distortion on it. I like to play my chet with distorition, its sounds good.
