what a great fucking show. we don't get it up here, so i have to watch VCD's that i have downloaded. it sucks, but what are you going to do?

i am trying to get caught up again before the new season starts. we are half way through season 3 right now.

who else watches it?

i would love to buy the DVD's, but they want over $100/season. i can't afford that.

a friend of mine is buying a dvd burner very soon, tho

I've only seen one episode because I don't get HBO here but my parents get it

the intervention one where the guy sits on the dog is just priceless

I never watched the first two seasons so I rented them. It saves you a lot of money. It still costs around $20 to rent every disc, but its a lot cheaper then buying them.

Check on E-bay or in a used CD/DVD store. We got all of our seasons between $25-$40 a set.

LOVE this show. I thought last season was kind of weak, but from what I hear, this season will more than make up for it

Definitely. S4 was the weakest of the bunch by far, but so far, the previews for S5 look phenominal. I can't wait.

Check here....none are for $100 (or close to). Our 4th season is the "Asian Version"...but all you need to do is turn off the asian subtitles, and it's good as new. Enjoy :-)

yeah. but those are US prices. i am in canada. if i bought those, i would have to pay exhange and duty

edit: that being said, a search of ebay.ca shows that the prices have come down.

i may have to check this out again.

Definitely can't wait for the season to start. When I met Michael Imperioli (Christopher), he told me that this season is definitely one you can't miss.

Hey, don't know if any of ya have checked out hbo.com, but they have some very nice previews you can watch for the upcoming season. It look like the wait will be very well worth it!!

I started watching it Season 3. Let me tell you it took me one day to watch Season 1 & 2 because I was so hooked.

you shoud check out hbo.com, you can read up on past events episode by episode. I think there may too much back story and I'd hate for you to give up on it.
